Are profile shares the same as my 25 free invitations?

No. Profile sharing is unlimited. Your 25 free invitations allow you to proactively invite other companies to join and connect with your organization through the SDS network.

What happens when someone receives my profile?

If the recipient is already participating in SDS, they can access authorized information according to the applicable relationship and permissions. If they are not yet participating, they will be asked to create a free SDS profile before accessing the information shared with them.

Can I invite companies into SDS?

Yes. Your free SDS profile includes invitations for your first 25 companies. You can invite suppliers, customers, or companies with which you have both relationships.

What if my company is both a buyer and a supplier?

One SDS company profile can participate as a Buyer, Supplier, or Both. You do not need separate company profiles.

What does a buyer receive for free?

A free buyer profile can access up to 25 unique supplier profiles during its 90-day free access period. Buyer access beyond the free allowance requires an applicable SDS buyer package.

Is my Portable Profile publicly searchable?

No. Portable means the information can be securely reused across authorized relationships. It does not mean protected supplier information becomes publicly available.

Does every buyer see the same information?

No. Buyer requirements and permissions may differ by relationship. SDS allows reusable information to be maintained centrally while supporting relationship-specific requirements and access.

Does SDS replace my ERP or procurement platform?
